Lovely local pub. Just went for an evening drink. Friendly and full of locals. Teenagers using the dartboard and toddlers roaming free. Great atmosphere.Posted on Paul NevinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Could not be more welcoming. Service was great, atmosphere was great, the land lord even lit a roaring log fire π₯ nothing was too much trouble, even played some 80s music for as. Thank you for your hospitality. 12th October 2025 We will definitely be back. Nev ππππππππππππππPosted on Gary FudgeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This without doubt one of the loveliest pubs I have been in. We were made to feel so welcome by all the staff and customers in it's such a friendly place The food is outstanding, the quality and portions are really good, all delivered piping hot We had most of our weekend meals here such was the warm welcome each time. All, and I mean all, the staff were so engaging and nothing was too much trouble. On Saturday night they held a murder mystery event which was such fun, I hope the they do it again as it's a real winning formula, winning also helped and the prize went down well. If anyone is unsure, you will not be disappointed here, we certainly intend to return and we thank the whole team for their warmth and kindness to four strangersPosted on Nige JonesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot explain how good the food is here. Ok, Iβll try. John, who used to run the Green Dragon in Bishops Frome, is now the chef here (if you know, you know). The Live and Let Live itself is absolutely charming. Plenty of parking, roaring fires and loads of entertainment. The staff are attentive and canβt do enough. You feel very welcome as soon as you step through the door. But the roast. The roasts are unbelievable. Hands down the best I have ever had (sorry Mum). They come with cauliflower cheese, as standard, I might add!! As well as crispy spuds, fluffy yorks, crackly crackling and stuffing, depending what you order. The meat is so well cooked. The gravy is perfect. If there was an award for the best roast then this place would win it. Genuinely. Highly recommended.Posted on STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Popped in here after a few months of being away. Luke the landlord immediately greeted us which is a nice way to start the evening. Went through to the restaurant and found a completely new menu. Excellent selection of fresh local produce which is always good. The food was delicious and sensible portions. For what we had definitely worth the money.Posted on Raymond ProbertTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Enjoyed every moment
